Solitary Man

Michael Douglas stars as a former car dealership owner who sees his personal and professional lives take a nosedive when the repercussions of years of shady business dealings and chronic womanizing finally catch up with him.
This was a pretty bad movie, we watched it until the end, and that left you hanging. Dumb.

Yesterday was a perfect day for a hike, the weather cooperated, it was about 49 degrees, maybe 50. Mostly sunny too. The only ones who couldn't make it were Billy and Linda. I was expecting a waterfall, but it really wasn't, there was a bigger one at the Flume the other day! But it was scenic, good exercise and fun to spend time with Gary's brother's and their families.

Me and my sister went to the Flume today for a nice walk/hike. We even had a picnic lunch! The weather was great, about 50 degrees and sunny with not a cloud in the sky.

The Killer Inside Me

We only had this movie in for about 15 minutes, between the sound of his voice and the bad storyline we couldn't stand it!

Fall of Giants

It's been a while since I put a new book on here, that's because I have been reading this humongous book, 985 pages. This is the first book of a trilogy by Ken Follett, the author of World Without End and Pillars of the Earth which were both excellent. This one is set during the First World War and the Russian Revolution. I wasn't sure if I would like this because I am not a fan of war books or movies, but even though I found my eyes crossing in some of the parts where the political and war talk was truly boring to me, the lives of the characters captured my attention so much I could not put it down. I can't wait for the next two.
