Fright Night

I saw this movie when the original came out, and liked it of course, anything with vampires! I wasn't sure how Colin Farrell would be as Jerry the vampire, but not to worry, he was awesome! Plenty of suspense, blood and some funny parts.

A Secret Kept

This of course was not the same type of story as Sarah's Key, but it was just as engrossing.

The Soft Whisper of the Dead

This book was published in 1982, so it is not new by any means. But I had read a list of the 10 best vampire stories of all time, and this was one of them. It was classic vampirism, but even so, when I finished it at 11:45 last night, I contemplated leaving the bathroom light on!!

77 Shadow Street

I am a big fan of Dean Koontz, but I have to say this wasn't my favorite book. It seemed to drag a little until near the end when all the action really happened. A little disappointing.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

This was actually quite good, not really scary but pretty suspenseful nevertheless.
