We celebrated Thanksgiving early this year. Since we are going to Stowe on Wednesday we won't be here. It was really nice, and I ate way too much but what else is new there?

It's a little warmer today than it has been, right now it is 32 and believe me, that feels balmy after the cold, windy crap we have had. I don't care though, as long as the snow holds off!!

Kaylyn is my nephew's wife, she is due at the end of January. I think she has only gained 17 pounds so far, doesn't look any different except for her belly. Tiffany is my other nephew's wife, she is due the day after Easter! Her husband was a big baby, and she is a tiny girl, yikes!

This was a really good Stephanie Plum story. I have only 2 more books to go in the series, unless she is writing number 15?

Winter Study

I have never read a book by this author, but I will be looking for more. This was really suspenseful and I could not figure out what was happening and who the "bad" guy was until it was revealed at the end.

We went to the Japanese steakhouse on Friday night for Brooke's birthday dinner. My parents, mother-in-law and Brooke's friend came with us. The food is so good, and Brooke caught a piece of zucchini in her mouth that the chef flicked through the air, and so he bought her fried ice cream for dessert.

Happy 18th Birthday Brooke!

I can't believe my baby is 18! I bet every mother says that. I don't really have any of her baby pictures on the computer, but take my word she was a really cute baby. :)

On Sunday we drove to Mt. Kearsage with the whole Henry clan and hiked. I was impressed with myself, I did pretty good, and Gary who hasn't hiked since he was probably 10 or 12 stayed right with me. The kids were like mountain goats, they weren't even out of breath. Oh, to be young again. We had a great time (I can't vouch for Gary, he wants to ride up the next mountain!) and afterwards we went for pizza together.

Eleven on Top

This, obviously is the 11th book in the Janet Evanovich series and was really good! The main character, Stephanie Plum quits her job as a bounty hunter because she is tired of being in danger all the time, only it doesn't quite work out that way. Let's put it this way, my car insurance company would not like me at all if as many cars of mine got blown up as hers!
