This was much better than the last Anita Shreve book, I couldn't put it down. If you read it though, be warned that it doesn't start at the beginning it goes back and forth so can be confusing for a little bit.

A Change in Altitude

This was probably not the best Anita Shreve book I have read. It takes place in Africa and although it did keep my interest fairly well, I was disappointed in the ending.

I was given my Netflix privileges back by picking this movie. Gary really liked it and surprisingly I did too. Doesn't hurt that Chris Pine AND Denzel were both in it!

Oh Deer!

Yesterday these three deer moseyed up into the yard from the woods. They were not the least bit afraid, even when Louie barked like a crazy dog at the sight of them.

We took her to Kohl's yesterday, and she picked

out a charming hat!

Followed by lunch at the Tilt'n Diner. When we are home

I ask if she wants grilled cheese for lunch, the reply is:no

way! But yesterday she said yes to grilled cheese (and ketchup)

is that a barrette in her hair? yes indeedy, and it stayed

for a while. Probably because we said we were going

shopping, and that excites this kid like saying "we are

going to Disney World" excites other kids!
