and Papa helped to get all the annoying packaging

off her toys

This picture was actually Christmas Eve, the tree

always looks so magical

Sarah's Key

Finally watched this movie, it has a lot of subtitles but I hardly noticed. What a great adaption from the book! Tells the story of the notorious Vel' d'Hive roundup of Jewish people in France, by the French authorities, in July of 1942, through the lives of Sarah Starzynski and her family. Just terrible that these people were treated this way, and lives taken, for what?

A Christmas Star

I have seen these books co-written by Thomas Kinkade and never really wanted to read them. I don't know why I ordered this one, but I am glad I did, it was very well written and I loved the storylines.

Mall Day

went to Rockingham Mall, and look what is

in the food court, it's Kali's lucky day!

Shopping for glittery shoes

and Michael Jackson hats

Brooke did the moonwalk in The Children's

Place, she's so talented

Split Pea and Ham Soup

I made this in the crock pot today with the ham bone from the Christmas party last weekend. That along with the cheesy bread was the perfect dinner to eat in front of the fireplace on this cold winter's day. I don't think it even hit 20 degrees here today!

Baker Kali

Kali got a little apron and hat set for Christmas
at the Griffin Christmas gathering

She went around stirring everybody, saying

Bate, Bate (Spanish for mix that she learned on Dora)

Her little cousin got the same. How cute!
