Fryeburg Fair 2010

Even Louie was excited to go to the Fair!

Nicole, Eric and Kali came for the day Saturday

She wanted to get down and walk, the
crowds were too much though

2 seconds after this picture was taken she
was screaming to get out!

I am late getting these pictures on, seeing as how went to the Fair on Columbus Day weekend!
We had a great time, Brooke's boyfriend Pat came with us, the weather was great, a little chilly on Saturday and Saturday night but sunday was beautiful. I ate a LOT of fair food! mini donuts, apple crisp, sunflower piza, a fried pickle! which was delicious, kettle corn and clam chowder in a bread bowl, oh and a cheeseburger. There, all sins confessed :) That was all eaten on just Saturday and Sunday.

Frozen

Three friends hit the slopes for a weekend of skiing and snowboarding. But when they convince the chairlift operator to let them take one last run before closing, Parker, Joe and Dan find themselves stranded in midair, alone and freezing. It'll be days before anyone returns to the slopes, and their chances of survival are looking slimmer by the minute.
Good movie!

Homecoming

This was a pretty good suspense movie, it kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what the weirdo stalker girl was going to do next.

Kali and the Pumpkin

What a cute story. Kali helping Daddy with the jack-o-lantern.

My 47th Birthday

For part of my birthday present Gary painted
the front door glossy black like I have been wanting!

Me and my love

Whoops, sideways picture. Brooke should not
do cake decorating as a career!

Kali loves cake as much as Grammy does!

So my birthday was looking bleak on Sunday in maine, Brooke had to work, Gary had to work. Then Nicole, Eric and Kali came up and surprised me, and Brooke was out of work at noon, and Gary even got out early. What a great day!

The Passage

I have to say, this book was fascinating. I love apocalyptic tales, and this definitely was one. At first it was hard to keep names straight, but the story pretty much boils down to about a half dozen major characters. It is a long book, but the more you get into it, the later at night you will stay up reading it.

Happy 28th Birthday to Nicole!

I am at my computer in Maine so I don't have access to all my pictures of Nicole, I would have liked to have scanned an old baby picture on from home. Anyway, today is her birthday I hope it is filled with love and fun.
In other news my mother had successful surgery for diverticulitis yesterday, the doctor said everything went well, phew!
