Summer Island

This was just as good as the last Kristin Hannah book that I read. When will I learn not to time reading the end of the book with bedtime? They always make me cry at the end! Not good to try and fall asleep with a stuffy nose.

Just Go With It

Brooke and I watched this last night, she had seen it before but she didn't mind watching it again. It was pretty funny, I laughed a lot. Adam Sandler is one of a kind.

The Change Up

Gary and I went to the movies on Sunday and saw this. It was hilarious. Still loving Jason Bateman in these movies, he is a riot, and of course Ryan Reynolds isn't too shabby either!

Sarah's Key

Brooke gave me this book to read about a 10-year old girl and the loss she endures with the July 1942 event in Paris, the Vel' d'Hiv' roundup of thousands of Jews by French policemen and sent to their deaths. I could not put this book down, it has been made into a movie but I think it was only released in limited theaters.

The Weight of Water

Since I read the book, I needed to see the movie. Even though it was made in 2001, both Gary and I thought it was pretty good. I am sure Gary thought so because Elizabeth Hurley showed her boobs! But they did a good job making the movie.

Kali the Performer

It was late, she was not at her usual place for bed time and I think she was a little overtired. She got going and put on a show!
