Safe Haven

This was a riveting story, I literally could not put it down and now I am disappointed that I didn't savor it more and make it last longer. I think this was the best Nicholas Sparks book that I have ever read.

Another awesome Anita Shreve book. This one I thought was one of the better ones that I have read so far. I happened upon two more at a yard sale and can't wait to read them.

Hall Pass

Well I left our Netflix movie up in Maine when I came home Monday, so we bought a movie from OnDemand. There were quite a few I wanted to see: The Rite, Red Riding Hood etc. But Gary heard Hall Pass was really funny so I said okay, seeing as how EVERYTHING else we watch on TV is dictated by the women of the house. It was not as funny as we heard it was going to be, it did have some laugh-out-loud moments but the whole premise of the movie was kind of distasteful to me, all in all I have seen funnier.
