What can I say? My children can be weird, but it was funny with the masks, Brooke can't wait to answer the door tonight wearing one of them! The last 3 pictures are my sister's grandson Lucas, he looks SO much like his mother. Love the lion costume!

Kali was all dressed up today in her little pink dress and sweater. Could not coax much of a smile today, the only one she gave my camera was not on yet. Poor baby is on an antibiotic, she actually has an ingrown toenail! It was starting to grow and grow into her nail bed, and was getting infected. :(

Home for the Holidays

It's never too early to start reading Christmas books. This one is two stories and they were fairly interesting, love stories.

Kali and Nicole spent the night last night, Eric had a job in Vermont. I slept really good last night, but apparently Kali didn't. I only heard her once, at 4:30 this morning. Nicole said at midnight she was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready to play!

So Kali did really well last night. She got here around 4 or 4:30, and slept until 6:30. Then she ate, and had her bath and played. Another bottle at 8:45 and she did not go to sleep until 10. She was awake at 2:15, back to sleep at 3:15, awake at 5:15, big poop and back to sleep until 8:30 or so. Phew, I maybe got 3 hours of sleep, because every time she made a little noise I popped awake, and she makes a lot of noises during the night! It is not as easy to go back to sleep when you are 46 as it is when you are 26! She is coming back tomorrow night, Eric has an overnight job so she and Nicole are spending the night here.

I wish we had 3-D glasses when we watched this, you could tell the parts that were in 3-D, but we didn't. It was still fairly good for a slasher movie, I could not tell who the killer was, it fooled me.

Our weekend was fabulous, we couldn't have asked for better weather on Saturday, cool but sunny. There was some remnants of the 3 inches of snow they had a few days earlier, but it was mostly melted. The food was fantastic, and I ate a LOT of it. I would die of over-eating if I ate fancy like that every day, 5 course meals every night and a big breakfast buffet every morning. The best thing I had to eat over the weekend would have to be the chilled Pumpkin Soup. It was more like a dessert, and we all know how I like sweets! The second best was the salmon. The worst thing I had to eat this weekend? Hmmm, probably the caesar salad of all things, it just wasn't that good. Now, I am home, Gary is back to work, maybe my eating can get back on track. I am off to do my Wii Fit.
