After years of throwing make believe weddings in the backyard as children, friends Parker, Emma, Laurel and Mac run a successful wedding planning company as adults. This first book is about Mac (Mackensie). She is the wedding photographer for the company. She bumps into a bride-to-be's brother, and realizes she knew him from school. Carter Maguire is definitely not her type: he's stable, and he's safe. He's even an English teacher at their old high school. There's something about him that makes Mac think a casual fling is just what she needs. But a casual fling can turn into something more when you least expect it.
This was a good book, typical Nora Roberts, but she has a way of writing so that you can't wait to read the next one that you know is coming.
