Home Again Home Again Jiggedy Jig

Back from vacation. I have no pictures, number one because we didn't do anything exciting, and number two because my computer crashed right before vacation and it is still at the doctor's. I am having to use my daughter's computer. We had a nice vacation. We decided to buy bikes. Since we aren't professional bike riders we just went to Wal-Mart to buy cheap ones. Gary got a nice 21 speed
Schwinn. I insisted that the cheaper, purple bike was all I needed. When we got back to the camp we took them for a ride. I thought I was going to have to be brought home in an ambulance. Just going up little hills I was huffing and puffing, and oh, my ass, it killed! I figured I was pretty out of shape, but I walk a lot and do exercise almost every day and that bike killed me. The next day I went out with Brooke. She rode the 21 speed I rode my 7 speed. Ugh. the hills were even worse than the day before. I figured that maybe it was because I was still recovering from the day before and begged Brooke to switch bikes with me. I could not believe the difference when I got on the 21 speed. I went right up the hills like nothing, and even the seat felt better. Poor Brooke, she rode the yucky 7 speed all the way home and swore she would never get on it again. Gary put the tags back on the bike, cleaned up the tires and we took it back to wal-mart. I ended up getting the exact same one as him, but in a women's. We also solved the dilemma with the closet in our bedroom at the camper. There aren't any drawers to speak of in the bedroom to put clothes in, but there is a huge closet. We have been looking and looking for some sort of shelving to put in it to put our clothes on. Nothing had the right measurements. While in Wal-mart we saw these 3 shelf bookcases that looked like they would work. They were only $18 a piece so we decided to try them. They fit in just right and I am thrilled to have shelves for my clothes.
Other than that, we ate out a lot. And I ate WAY too much junk food. I was so out of control. today, back to eating sensibly.
Last night we watched a couple of movies when we got home, Mr. Brooks and The Mist. They were both pretty good.
Our sun room has still not arrived. We aren't going up this weekend so maybe by the weekend after it will be there.
My nephew who got married at the end of April is going to be a Dad. His new wife is pregnant and due sometime in January.
